Cayuga Community College

Cayuga Community College’s Nursing program prioritizes professional standards, patient care and advocacy, and provides a variety of clinical settings for students to gain experience caring for patients of any age. Students learn theoretical knowledge and clinical skills to provide care for patients, as well as leadership skills, communication and medical technologies to better care for their patients in varied healthcare settings. By working closely with classmates and with faculty, students build a strong connection and sense of belonging with each other, the program and the college.

Program graduates have traditionally excelled on the NCLEX. Seven times since 2013 all members of Cayuga’s graduating nursing classes passed the NCLEX on their first attempt, including the most recent 100 percent pass rates achieved from 2020 to 2023.

The College is committed to supporting and training the next generation of nurses. The gift from the Mary Porcari Brady Fund will help more people persist in their studies and earn good-paying jobs that will help better our community.

Thank you to the Mary Porcari Brady Fund for this generous donation and your belief in our Nursing students. Our students are tireless in preparing for careers caring for those in need, and knowing that the Emergency Nursing Fund created through this donation is available to support them during their training is indispensable. Your support for our program and our students is truly inspiring.
